i think Sabathia might make a good padded wall covering in the outfield..
if an outfielder ran into CC at full speed.. he's be just fine..
i might look at that option to protect the other players..
as it is, he took himself out of today's game for being too fat.
As the manager i certainly would have agreed and i think that Girardi
made the right move.
problem is he burned a good amount of his pen, and
in doing so screwed up Betances head a bit.
Betances is a guy that pitches well with a lead only.
In any "presh" situation, he caves bear in winter
