Glad to see another new face. This is my 2nd week on the forum and it seems pretty good. I still cant get much advice on my thread, but im trying to see who knows what on here myself. Ive got a thread going "Winners Circle" where i post my picks day to day. Had a good first week, but got hit hard last night. Good luck to you and if you need anything let me know.

This is how we will roll with my picks this year...Everyday I will post my "Persistent Plays" and my "Luck Plays." My "Persistent Plays" will be my strong plays, and "Luck Plays" will be the smaller plays. I will also have one "DYNAMITE PLAY" a day which will be what I consider my best play and I will be wagering bigger units on this play. 1 unit is 100$.

I will keep a log of each of my plays using the spreadsheet and will also post it in my thread. You will see that I will not be deleting any of my plays, as I want to convey accuracy and legitimacy in my thread.

I like the who spreadsheet idea. I may look into that myself. I have just been posting my picks straight up for the first week, but starting today im going to keep track of my units. Looking forward to it man.

As for a system, i am a huge sports fan and keep up with everyone and everything as much as possible. Between fantasy leagues, placing a few bets, and reading up info on as many matchups as possible, i should do alright. I had a great football and basketball season and hope it can run through baseball. I know last year i do ok with baseball just by picking 2 or 3 games and one of them being the bigger underdogs of the day. If they cover, you cover, if not, your other 2 should be your top 2 so you were either going to lose more than you did, cover your ass, or win alot more than expected. Hard to get a feel for it yet, still to early in the season. Just look at about 8 of the top ten pitchers from last year, throught their first or first 2 starts, they're not looking so dominant.

I know man...shocking how horrid webb, sabathia, and Lincecum have been. Im sure they will turn things around though. Thats why I have waited to make my wagers for the year. You can never jump on these pitchers early as each year things change and players tend to change.

Take a look through CK's daily thread to start off. He definitely knows his baseball, as do several others that frequent it. Welcome to SBR. I love the avatar, btw.

I don't know how much faith I can put in the RedSox until their offence starts to roll. Right now it's the Youklis show in Boston, whereas Oakland has been good at the plate, and are getting solid pitching both from their starters and their bullpen. I'm on the Athletics today.

When capping the Red Sox game, I had a strong lean at about 61% to 39% probability of the Red Sox taking the game. I guess we will see tonight. I do agree that Oakland is good at the plate, but the Sox have better talent at the plate. I see the A's cooling off a bit as I believe they are riding a wave right now.
