Believe it or not, this is more of bet against Seattle. I watched the Red Sox game yesterday. It was a marathon of sorts, taking almost 5 hours. They used a ton in their bull pen. So I figure they didn't fly out until late last night, flying through two different time zones to get to Texas. Now they have to play an arch rival. My guess is they will be exhausted, not to mention they gave up 45 runs. I planed on Texas before I even saw the pitching matchup, and Texas is still home and have been playing relatively well. Hopefully Hamels adds to my "theory". BOL men.

I agree, Mag. Mariners have gotten tagged real hard the last few games. Now they get to fly into Big D and face my Rangers where it will still be mid 90s around game time. Long game last night, late travel, plus playing in the heat sets them up for a very grueling game. Then you have the Rangers looking more comfortable at home than I've seen them all year. As long as Hamels puts in a solid game, I see the Rangers having a big game. Only thing that worries me is that the bullpen has been hit or miss all year.

Well, I see you have the same angle as I do. With any Luck, Hamels won't let it get to the "pen" until the 9th for their closer. BOL tonight.

The enigme still Hamels cause since he traded from the Phillies, He earned 9 run and 16 hit...
He allowed 5 home run, this is too high for a pitcher like him and 2 looses is too much too.
He lost against the same team begin of August...

Hamels was scratched from his scheduled start Thursday against the Twins with a groin issue, but it sounds like a pretty minor thing. "We'll know more when he throws this weekend," general manager Jon Daniels told MLB.com's T.R. Sullivan. "He has shown some improvement so we're hoping he can start on Monday." Chi Chi Gonzalez is taking his turn on Thursday afternoon.

Well thanks to you, I didn't endure a losing night even with Pirates losing. Held off on TB TT (U 3)...won other 2 bets and hopefully Cards win yet another home series!
Going to hammer Pirates on Tues...bounce back after a disappointing loss.

Funny how if one bet Pirates +1.5 the last 3 games facing a pretty hot NY Mets at -210-ish, would have won easily each time.
Then Pirates are favored with super - stud Gerrit on mound @ home vs a gascan and they lose by 3!

Cole is not an "elite" pitcher yet. He is a legend in his own mind.

Info only :

Cole (14-7) gave up four runs and nine hits in 6 2/3 innings with one walk and five strikeouts. He is 0-3 with a 4.70 ERA in four starts during the month.
