I don't like going to heavy on plays excepy once in awhile but this might be the one to do so.

Flash back to 4th of July 2015 when the Giants were in the midst of their worst losing stretch of the season. Madison Bumagarder was starting for the Giants that day and boy did he get embarassed. I belive Michael Taylor hit a homerun on the very first pitch and Bryce Harper went yard twice. It was a baaad day for Bum as the Nats rolled 9-3 on their way to sweeping the Nats.



ANow the proverbial shoe has exchanged feet and Bum will be thirsty for revenge. Nats are reeling, big bear is rumbling about canning Matt Williams, Werth and Rendon while back, have yet to return to form. Throw in its the last day of a long road trip.

Giants are having a disappointing season so these little battles of earning payback might be the most satisfaction they'll have all year. So, this amounts to what I would call one of the worst situations a team could be in for the Nats.

I like Joe Ross, but he is starting to pitch more innings and on the road no less. First time I saw him have some control problems in his last start which is definitely a bad sign. He is actually having a homecoming being from close to the bay area so I'm sure this will be a high pressure situation for him as well. Not to say the kid hasn't had ice in his veins thus far but this Giants team is a bit relentless this series. They've toppled Strasburg, Scherzer and Gonzalez in the past 3 games and now going up agst the best ace of the Giants staff. I know the reverse line movement is ridunk but I think you got a lot of ppl chasing the Nats and hence the extra cash.
