without Tulo and without Encarnacion the A's have a fighting chance.

The A's really struggle vs Lefties and Buehrle has been lights out so the question will be whether or not the A's can score a couple runs.

The A's are 9 wins and 20 losses in games vs a LHP.

And 9 wins 16 losses against teams from the AL East.

With Tulo and Encarnacion this would be another blood bath but we shall see what happens.

Oakland now in the 145 range at most dime shops. Normally would feel good but have had a bad run this year when I have crushed the closer.

Agree. I would really like to see the # on this. Seems like regularly beating the closing number by 20+ cents in baseball this year would put you in the poorhouse, as odd as that sounds.

one of my all time favorite pitchers to watch and bet on. He makes watching the game so much easier for me b/c he doesn't dick around on the mound. He gets the ball and throws and keeps his defense on their toes. He goes right after hitters and doesn't walk many. This is a formula for success.

Its one bet. You put yourself ahead of the market and it doesnt look like it works out. Onto the next. Its really only one game, hell, Ive got over 1500 wagers this year all sports already and hopefully another 1500 to come. You just want to continue to put yourself in the best possible scenarios and hope it works out in the end.

I've killed "the market" all year long in baseball and wound up down 25 units before I closed up shop. This is a good example of the bets that made me pull the plug on the season in the first place.
