He he is their best pitcher. But remember he is coming off tommy john. Harvey as good as he has been this year has his starts where the stuff or control isn't there cause of the surgery. I expect max to go 7 innings and give up 2runs and at worst 3. Anything better than that is a plus plus .

If you're going to get upset over losing a bet, and a longshot at that...then this may not be the hobby for you

3-3 but actually eked out +0.11 of profit.

marktb68, I don't rate my plays because I play them all about the same amount, so when you pick and choose instead of just playing them all, there could be more variance in your results vs. mine.

my point you stated 64% NY and then pick RS. what's the point of using your model if you choose opposite?

Notice my comment about Garner out and Ramirez in, my model had the opposite. After making those changes to my default lineups, Yanks dropped to from 64% to 61% (-156), so +165ish became OK.

to me, 3% doesn't change much. When does common sense and logic come into the picking, not for you, for everyone else. for example, yesterday, Arrieta over Happ, to me, was a 100% given. No questions. None. Why? common sense.

I am 100% a numbers guy and it has worked for me so won't change anytime soon.

Well, actually a 99% numbers guy,the other 1% is are judgement calls I make when to pass on games with big variance from model and when to include games with smaller than 10% variances (which unfortunately included Red Sox last night, but oh well...shit happens).
