                                I want the Tigers to win for baseball reasons(Phillies fan so if tigers win, they're less likely to trade price so better return for Hamels)
                                But at the same time the numbers strongly suggest Tampa has about -185ish odds so gotta take advantage of the 20 cent difference

                                                            Cant argue with your record!! As far as beating the closing line I am confused, yes there are times if you get a play in early it can benefit....when it comes to bases and all of the inconsistencies the key is to pick the winner regardless of various line movement.

                                                                    That part is true, but if I win a dog, I'm usually winning slightly more than what the line closed at. If Giants lose tonight, Im losing 1.6 units, whereas the last minute bettor is losing close to 2 units. 15% of my lines I bet on are worse than what they close at, but 85% I am getting a better line than what it closes at. Not only am I winning, I am winning more than the average bettor because of my philosophy.
