Over8 of pirates/rays was the first one that popped out today looking at the card.

Books undervaluing a lot Burnett despite McCutchen missing, which I really like the Pirates.

Interesting, laying odds of -126 on Rockies. I will tail that one, those are rare

padres/giants is a coin flip imo.

Rockies look good. Martinez is a gas can and he will get lit up at coors. Rusin is a lefty and most of the good Rangers hitters are Lefties Hamilton,Choo, Fielder, Moreland. Only good Right hander is Beltre.

Rays/Phillies over is interesting. Buchcannan is probably the worst starting pitcher currently on a MLB roster.... but the Rays ain't the best hitting team and Moore should have no trouble shutting down a punch-less Philly line-up.

the play that is the real head scratcher is the Pirates play..... Ace Ventura looked amazing his last outing and he looks like he really fixed his mechanics... he is staying under control in his delivery and not using too much energy on every pitch like he was doing... now it looks like he has tweaked his throwing motion and is still throwing 97-99mph effortlessly. Also the Royals are red hot and the Pirates are ice cold. and the Royals are awesome and home and the Pirates are very pedestrian on the road....

just curious what your angle is on the Pirates... i can't see them scoring more than 1 or 2 runs tonight.

that being said about the Royals/Pirates game i do think the line is suspiciously low.

Ventura should be a much bigger favorite here atleast -140 or -150 the way the Royals are playing and all things considered.... the Pirates are not a team that is going to get that much stronger by having the DH as they don't have much quality depth as far as good hitters go...

Pirates usually decide to let the back up catcher hit when they get to use the DH and neither Stewart or Cervelli offer much offensively.

Value is gone in Rodriguez vs. Santiago matchup, I bet it yesterday at 7.5 +105, opened higher than that today and even though it has dropped a bit, still see minimum of -110 on the 7.5 right now.

I don't plan these things, plays just present themselves. Just like there have been full cards where I have had 2-3 plays.

You do realize he uses a model and goes off that when numbers show he has an edge. He's not just picking plays he likes. And even if he felt like taking some shots, being up 60 units on the year is the right time to do it.

yes, it just seems that there are too many model differentials for one day resulting in him playing 11 games. i know he's good and is well followed here but could the bookmakers be off on that many games today. the game already started but the red sox/angels over i have to question that one among others.

Missed Bosox GM1 prior to start but midway thru 2nd after getting 2 hits, no runs, BoSox were +150... Ummmm, what am I missing? Ended up getting +135 so I'm content with that all day; just curious why books were offering?
