I knew that going in, but LAD on the road vs. teams with winning records aren't very good statistically. But when you have Greinke on a roll, 1 run might do it.

I am getting very weary of MLB. 2 years in a row on here plus 25 units in NBA. 2 years in a row winning in NFL, this past year + 45 units, last year in MLB plus 24 units, this year SUCKS. LOL. I am growing so tired of this shit, ready to throw in the towel. MLB is just a joke. I might just go back to taking huge favorites. It's like nobody can hit anymore.

Thanks brother. It's been fun. But, just about had enough of this MLB stuff. LOL. Nobody can hit. Pitchers with ERA's in the 5.00 plus range, throwing no hitters into the eight inning, that are bums by the way, on & on & on. Makes no sense this year. LOL. What a disgrace MLB has become. That's just me. Kudos to the guys doing well. I know one guy "killing" it this year, but he couldn't pick and NBA game to save his life. Just the way it goes I guess. Have you tried soccer?? imo soccer is another good option. Many leagues start in August (e.g. most big leagues around Europe)

This stuff is frustrating. I watched part of the AZ game in a sportsbar. I don't think the OVER would have cashed in that one even if the game went on for 50 more innings. Imagine that the Cardinals also figured out a way to score 1 run in all of 18 innings. I wasn't on them though. My point is this stuff is crazy. I might soon throw in the towel.

Soccer is a bad bad bad bad bad option. Is worse than baseball. At least in baseball there has to be a winner. I'm soccer, a game could end in a tie. The incessant red cards and penalties makes the game very unpredictable. I'm sure that game was designed by the sportsbooks.

Mags - I get your frustration.
I am sitting at -16.5 units for the season in mlb...This +4 units in the 2H has me giddy again, but I realize that this could be the best stretch of the mlb season for me.
There's a reason I'm still down nearly 17 units!

Mlb is a sport that you can analyze to death and think you've got it figured out and then all it takes is like 5 minutes in the spam of a 3.5 hour game to ruin a bet.

Just be grateful you have done extremely well in all sports nearly every season...and you can back it up with your posts.
I have had only a sniff of success in sports betting in 2.5 years now...just finished my 1st winning season in a pro sport...nhl at a measly +1.5 units.

You are one of the few to have consistent success at sports wagering...that's probably why your frustration comes out when you find yourself in the minus side this season in mlb...which could turn around still by the end of the season...you always seem to bounce back...ok to vent on here...we gotta do it sometimes...I do it more than I should with mlb...think it's the grind of the season. We spend a ton of time chatting about plays, posting, looking up info...and after 4 months we find ourselves in a freakin hole...and quite often stupid manager decisions or routine errors, or guys just not there mentally because they are guaranteed millions anyhow, helped to put us there.

Was so close to taking either U 7 or Tribe TT Under.
I was surprised that the Cleveland TT was set at 3.5 with Cueto pitching...it is almost always 3 when he pitches at home...guess the books knew he wouldn't be as dominant today.

I will likely go for the opposing team TT Under next time Johnny pitches at home...that is one of easiest plays the last 2 seasons...just once in a blue moon it doesn't hit or at least push.
