It seems like a let down spot for the Cards.

The Pirates have to have this series circled considering the luck St. Louis had in sweeping them earlier in the year.

I laid off to see what the line would do and the movement agreed with my lean.

I don't solely rely on line movement but in situations like this it helps me to validate or solidify my lean.

The Cardinals could go out and win by 5+ runs but more often then not when I like a dog and wait, and the line moves with my lean, I win more than I lose.

You always want the best price but at the same time, this has also saved me money when my lean is wrong and the line goes the other way and I end up not playing it.

The Cardinals are my team but this just feels like a series they'll lose. My decision to back Pitt tonight came down to this.

- It's a more important series to Pittsburgh
- St. Louis coming off a hard series and emotional win
- Pitt coming off a relatively easy series
- Revenge factor for Pitt after squandering a ton of opportunites in a series in St. Louis earlier in the year in which they were swept.

I also feel like St. Louis is falling into a lull before the All-Star break while Pitt is just starting to hit their stride. I wouldn't be surprised if Pitt is a World Series team by year end.
