Hey guys! Been awhile for about 6 weeks as Uncle Sam had me working down south, but glad to be back! I have been on fire but since I could not post anything here I will go with a clean slate at 0-0!
I love Bases and have friends that handicap it well so here is to a long winning season for everyone here!
Early play:
Under 9 Pitt/Cinn
It's hard to take the under in Cincy because it's a hitters ballpark but I like it today.
Snell had a shaky start but in the early month of the season it provides a wake up call. Harang pitched well in the first game against a tougher line up in the Mets so look for another good outing from him.
Layne is behind the plate and he is an under guy that has a wide enough strike zone to keep the pitchers comfortable and hitters on edge. Harang likes him because the under is 4-0 when he pitches with Layne behind the plate.
Weather has wind blowing in slightly but it won't factor. The Reds bats have been quiet which is good for Snell to get comfortable and the Buc bats have been loud but Harang should counter that.
Projected Final: Reds 4 Pirates 2
