    Eckstein is killing the Cardinals
I know nobody else really hit tonight, but this guy is 0-9 in two games and is a terrible leadoff hittter. The guy hitting between Roland and Edmonds sucks too. He didn't even run out that comebacker in the 9th to the mound until Jones bobbled it.

He's playing with a shoulder injury.

I didn't realize his shoulder was hurt...that definitely would affect his performance, especially if it's his throwing shoulder...

The injury is to his left shoulder, although he's throwing motion from shortstop makes it appear as though he's injured in his right shoulder.

The guy's a tough player, but unless he starts getting on base the Cards are in trouble. If his injury is hurting his swing, they need to drop him in the order. I know they don't have many options, but you can't let him go 0-9 in the next couple of games.

He's turned it around big time in the last 2 games, although the 7th inning hit tonight was a gift. Big hit in the 8th to win this game. I thought he was going to have a long series after the first two games, but I was clearly wrong on that.

              He's got a strong arm...

As compared to a person without arms.

Eck is a winner period, I think this will be his second world series win that has has played a major part in. He is way better than A-Rod in terms of a winning productive pressure player.
