Looking to get into sports betting. Have some experience playing fantasy sports, poker, and some daily fantasy but never really got into sports betting too much. Hoping to learn as I go along and keep a record of my bets for record keeping and in case anyone wants to discuss plays.

Looked at the recent avg's, pitcher splits, recent games, and lineups. CHC sitting out quite a players and Latos splits don't look quite as bad on the road strangely. His FIP and BABIP also seem a little high so hoping that'll come down a bit today. CWS seem to be hitting pretty well lately and BAL pitcher looks like he could get shelled pretty hard this game... I like MIN here as a dog as most of the team has been hitting well and Duffy (KC) has been getting destroyed lately. Maybe more picks later today but wanted to lock these in before games started.

Rangers bats aren't so hot and have a lot of guys out of the lineup today. Angels have been crushing but Wilson makes me a little nervous but I think they still pull it off.

Although I'm a Giants fan, Vogey has been getting lit up especially away. Zimmerman hasn't given up a run in his last two games.

Well... didn't know I couldn't edit my first post after 24 hours, I guess that makes sense though. I'll just keep my running totals in separate posts. Decent day today, few close ones which I felt could've gone our way but we're still up so can't complain too much.

OAK @ CWS 1U +150 Great splits on the road.
WAS @ BAL 1U +125 Not sure how NATS are the dog here, going 1U because I feel like I must be missing something. Gio has been great the last few outings and his overall ERA should be lower based on his FIP and BABIP.
PHI @ SF 2U -170 Phillies hitters are atrocious and Bumgarner should be mowing them down. Giants hitters haven't been too hot but with Pence back and Hamels slightly worse away splits I'm going heavy on SF.

MIL @ LAD -159 1U Want to take MIL here because their bats have been heating up as of late but I don't trust Nelson on the mound. LAD bats have been pretty quiet, but I think Nelson should help out with that.
LAA @ SEA -112 1U Both pitchers are coming off a great last 3 games and I think SEA pitching is slightly ahead but I like LAA's bats more. With a close ML, I'm taking LAA on this one.

TOR @ KC +123 1U Can see this one going either way but I like KC more being the dog. Young has a 1.58 BAA against righties but has been pretty shaky lately.

ATL @ COL -153 2U Sure De La Rosa isn't my favorite pitcher to get behind but the COL bats should give us a nice preview of the home run derby today.

DET @ MIN -134 1U Simon has been horrible his last few starts and I don't see it improving here. DET bullpen is also horrific.

HOU @ TB -114 1U Houston has been on a losing streak but I think they turn it around here with Keuchel on the mound. Odrizzi is coming off an injury and should struggle a little bit his first game back.

CIN @ MIA -127 1U Don't think Iglesias's stats are as bad as they look and should get way more run support than MIA. If the line wasn't so bad I'd go 2U here.
