Chasing is SUICIDE. It has never worked. The idea of doubling up every time you lose a bet to recoup your losses is fundamentally UNSOUND.

The only progression system I have ever seen that made money (even though it is not fool proof) is the 1-3-2-4 progression system.
You bet 1 unit on your first play. If you lose, start over. If you win, bet 3 units on the second play. If you win again, bet 2 units on the third play and then 4 units on the next one. If at anytime you lose a bet, start over. If you win all 4 bets, start over

I've seen a guy use that system at the blackjack table on several occasions. When he loses, his losses are limited. When he wins, he makes a killing.
