What a horribly managed game today.

Guy on third no outs, can't score.

He leaves Joba in to give up three runs in extra innings.... Joba sucks too. He let a guy hitting .169 clear the bases with two outs on a 1-2 pitch.

Then he subs out Davis and Martinez and both of their replacements have to bat in he bottom of the 10th with the tieing and winning runs on base.

    They lose by 1.

Besides the shitty bullpen, walking guys and hitting batters in an extra inning game (which a whole other topic), it was just a horrible managing job.

You're in an extra inning game and you have subbed out your lead off hitter and clean up hitter.

It just so happens that those two spots come up to bat in a huge situation with the tieing and winning runs on base and it screws you. That's just horrible.

The Tigers have bullpen issues but there is too much talent on that team for them to keep losing like this.

Why did he take out the guy who threw 8 pitches, striking out two batters, and then next inning bring in that complete LOSER Chamberlin??? He's the guy that loaded the bases and gives up a triple to a .190. hitter???? Oh yes, then takes him out. Brilliant !!!!

Too many teams and the long schedule has not only diluted player talent, but obviously managerial talent as well.

bad bullpen management by him since last year, countless games i remember watching detroit having a 2-3+ run lead and feel like they were even money to win once the pen came in.

They are out hitting the White Sox 11-6 and are losing.

Is he going to get out coached by Ventura again? LMAO

Lmao. He subbed out Martinez again today and guess what happened?

Seattle pitched around Cespedes to face Martinez's spot with the tieing and winning runs on base in extras. Seattle won.

Thank god I was on the Mariners this time.

I learned my lesson. Ausmus did not. I have given up on Detroit.
