Get away day, already won series, no Miggy gotta question there motivation here I think most. See it far too often on getaway day especially when a team has accomplished there goal. Bags packed literally, and often times check out mentally as well.

Arent' they hovering around .500??? Why wouldn't they want to beat up a division foe??? And they have Victor back. Just my opinion. I don't like this Buck Farmer kid, but no reason detroit still can't hit away.

Well, all I can say is last two days the books have given me the Tigers plus money. Monday was +130 and yesterday with Price pitching got +104. Maybe third time is "the loser". LOL. I expect this Farmer kid to get hammered yet again. Still think detroit can get over the 3 mark. we'll know by 3:00 PM. BOL RP.

Agree there Mag books still have too much faith in this Tribe team most days in my opinion. But the Tigs OWN their asses so why they keep throwing out lobs in this series is beyond me?!? Hope Tigs crush these fools again and plate 8 for ya all haha

Going back to an earlier point you brought up Mag about hovering around .500. From what I've always heard and been told mlb teams don't look at that so much. There main objective at this point in season is just trying to win each individual series. So once that is accomplished you gotta believe the mental letdown is there somewhat and of course on flipside team trying to avoid the broom will be exact opposite.

Once August hits especially mid of month these teams start chasing their tails and looking more at records and every gm matters more. That's why I think you see on sbr for ex I've noticed a couple guys who are strictly dog players or more prone that way can be up nice for a season but they don't see the tide is turning and give half or most back down stretch getting raked in final weeks.
