Why under in Baltimore games besides philly having trouble scoring lately? They did score 3 and then 4 yesterday.

Both pitchers today have high era and have given up runs their last 5 games.

at first glance the Over in the Phillies / Orioles game with 2 gas cans on the mound appears to be the easiest play of the year especially in a hitters ball park during a day game when the ball usually carries more.

BUT a couple things need to be taken into consideration.

      1. ) If you know LT Profits ... he has a contrarian style much like Lakerboy and No Coincidences. He likes to go against the grain.

2.) There are 2 important factors that help the under in this case... Both teams pitchers will be forced to hit so that is a rally killer and basically an automatic out every time the pitcher gets up to bat. And also they are calling for rain....... Rainy weather usually means low scoring games.

If this was a hot sunny day i would be going all in on the over in the his one. You couldn't ask for 2 pitchers that are worse at the MLB level than these 2 GAS CANS.

Sometimes even I don't know what the model is "thinking", and it has total at 7.5. It only gives the Phillies 3.4 runs, so guess it figures Philly would have trouble scoring vs. any random righty. Plus it only projects Norris going 5.2 innings and Balty pen going 3.1, which sounds good for Under. It only had 4.1 runs for Orioles, keeping in mind I already had Adam Jones Out of lineup. Now I see Wieters is out too.

Phillies-O's over looks like the easiest play on the board to me. But what do I know?

LT, have you any resource on lineups which are earlier available than the first few results which show up at google search when typing in 'baseball lineups'?

I use baseballpress.com or rotowire.. In my experience (namely being a lineup hound for fantasy baseball purposes) they get them up just as soon or earlier than everyone else. There's really no place you're gonna find them hours in advance. They get out there almost immediately after the manager turns in the card these days.

^hours in advance meaning hours before all the major lineup places get them posted

Okay, these are the ones I was referring to. Didn't know if it's allowed to talk about them here so I didn't call them directly to avoid another ban hammer lol.

yeah i know. i've gotten strikes for the weirdest shit around here. at a certain point it just gets absurd. i'd rather just not come around if i can't talk like a normal person. not saying it's got to that point or anything but it has certainly came close.

When LT has a good day people praise him to the heavens. The day it doesn't go well with his plays they call him all sorts of things. That's the SBR.

damn nice job on the philly game

1st batter of the game hits a HR and then not much scoring after that.

If you want to do a 4-week challenge for 500 points, I'd set one up. Would be the exact same rules as the weeklies. Let me know before Monday so it could start then.
