    Hm?

Guy had a couple bad outings and gets no run support (Indians score 2.5 runs/game in his starts). He has an ERA of 2.25 over his last 7 starts. Everything's fine with him.

He had one of the most difficult schedules of all pitchers in MLB so far (regarding opposing SPs). And the Indians offense choked scoring 2 or less runs in 9 of his 13 starts. Can't win with this...

Eh.. he's actually been alright. wins and losses is a bad indicator of individual performance (i know you know that already just pointing it out)

      96.2 IP
      111 K
      38 ER
      8 Quality Starts
      1.15 WHIP

      Road - 4.02 ERA, 1.089 WHIP
      Home - 2.88 ERA, 1.23 WHIP

I'd take a dude like him on the Tigers any day of the week I know that lol

Another Kluber fan. LOL. Never said I didn't like the guy, just don't think he is Cy Young material. Last year was an aberration, there were several guys that could have gotten that award, in my opinion. I think he is a decent enough pitcher, but don't tell me that wins & losses don't count??? Did you ever see a guy win an award with a 3-9 record ????

I do agree that he's not Cy Young worthy..
I still think looking at this year by itself, performance-wise, he's easily better than 2/3rd's of the league's starters.
And yeah, I don't think wins and losses count at all when evaluating a starting pitcher. It's probably the absolute last thing I look at.

Mag, as I pointed out the Indians average 2.2 runs per game in his starts. How does a team win with scoring 2.2 runs per game?
              Impossible.

He is the same pitcher like last year, there was no abberation. This guy IS elite. He simply gets no run-support. That's all. Ah, and his BABIP is quite high (normally around .300):

              2014: 28.3 K%, 5.4 BB%, 1.09 WHIP, 7.4 HR/FB%, .316 BABIP, 2.57 xFIP, 2.61 SIERA
              2015: 28.3 K%, 4.6 BB%, 1.15 WHIP, 9.1 HR/FB%, .343 BABIP, 2.63 xFIP, 2.65 SIERA

I am no Kluber fan. I don't care about him much. But he is a beast. He got the 3rd best xFIP, 3rd best SIERA, 4th best K% and 6th best BB% of all qualified AL starters.

For pitchers W-L is maybe the worst stat to rate his performance. The three starters with the most wins this season are:
              - Gerrit Cole (10 W, 1.71 ERA)
              - King Felix (9 W, 3.38 ERA)
              - Bartolo Colon (9 W, 4.41 ERA)

              Look at the brackets.

So did I. LOL. I am not arguing he isn't a decent pitcher, too bad for him he plays on a suck team. Same with Felix all these years, shit team. Enough about Kluber. LOL. He isn't going anywhere. BOL tonight terror. I will see you over in your thread.

Fella's look, I didn't want to start a big thing about Kluber. I said at the end of last year to several people on here, that I know , he was a...........I don't give two shits about the guy.
