Just a quick write up, read if you want...
I think this game has a great chance to hit on the under, and for the tigers to win. In Kyle Lohse's last 12 road games (dating back to July 4th of last year) every single total has been 7.0 or 7.5, and the under has cashed in 8 times (8-4 on the under, and the under has cashed in each of his 3 road games this season. Greene for the Tigers on the other hand has been fairly impressive - beside getting blasted two home starts ago allowing 8 earned runs in four innings. But other than that in 3 of his last four home starts he's allowed 2 runs or under, also lasting 7 or 8 innings in each of those home games (beside that horrible performance vs Cle I just mentioned). Greene had a scare last start, but from reports it was just mild inflammation that left him with tingling and he said he was hopeful it was just a "freak thing". He threw bullpen sessions a few times this week as well and said everything felt normal. And if that's true, let's expect him to only allow a run or two as usual. This price on this game sits just about right at -145, giving the Tigers are trying to avoid a sweep and they've lost their last three games. I really like the Tigers here because the Brewers are 1-7 in their last 8 situations when coming off an away win when they recorded 10 or more hits and the opp starters ERA is above 4.10. I'm going to wait a bit to check out the line movement on this game, but i'll defiantly be betting on the under 8.5.
