Happ closed at -127 yesterday. This is just getting ridiculous. The team can't lose
The fact that they just home 4 game swept Seattle, after back to back road sweeps in Oakland and in San Diego.
This is mind boggling to me, and cannot believe it's not getting more attention.

Look, Houston is good. Are they this good? No. But they're solid.
With that being said, they shouldn't be -210 in May against anyone.

When Seattle tied in up at 6 yesterday. I said to myself, finally. Back down to earth.
Than Gattis comes up, who looks like a god damn lumberjack who couldn't run 100 yards, steps up no batting gloves and dumps one in the Crawford boxes. Game over, Astros win again. I just shake my head

They're on a hell of a roll. Catching every break imaginable. Kind of like the Cardinals right now.

absolutely a ridiculous line - but at the same time - they can't lose right now - am I betting against this streak, yes, but only because I playing against this ridiculous number. There are 162 games, this game is not over a 2/1 lock for Houston.
They will regress. They are not THIS good. They are good, but not 10+ winning streaks all year good.

I just think with Keuchel on the bump against Detwiler (and the awful Ranger pen) who is obviously not making the transition back to a starter very smoothly, the streak won't end tonight.

could/may absolutely be the case - but a litte winning streak in April/May isn't going to make me lay 2/1, ya know?

I'm actually taking the -1. If they win by 2 I win, if they win by 1 I push. If they lose, I still think it was right to ride this streak out against arguably the worst team in MLB.

that would probably be the way I play it if my lean was Houston. BOL

I can make the case for Houston easily. Houston has all the momentum. At home, 10 game win streak, ace pitcher on the mound on a Monday night. There is no reason for Texas to get up for this game. Baseball is tricky but if this wasn't the Houston Astros and any other team had a guy with a 4-0 record, 0.67 era pitching.. -200 is not that crazy.

How is the over/under 8.5? Shouldn't it be 7.5? Why an extra run if Houston isn't more than likely gonna put up 4-6+ runs. Can Texas get 3-5... Doubt it. Keuchel will pitch 7+.

I honestly think if you went with Houston, the Cubs, Miami, Philly and maybe San Diego, you'd come out comfortably ahead tonight.
FTR, though, the Astros' ML at Pinnacle is now higher than its open after an initial drop -- automatically a pass in my book given its prior success rate. We'll see where it closes.

Favorite. It hits at a very high rate. I'm in the process of tracking/backtracking.

1-0 with no hits. Houston is finding a way to score.
