-Perez was awful last Saturday walking 4 in the first inning...seems to be wild again.
-Arroyo also had a tough time in his final preseason outing. Arroyo gave up six runs and seven hits in the 12-4 loss to Cincy's Double-A team.
-Yesterday these two teams combined for 16 runs.

Bronson Arroyo has a career .828 OPS vs lefties compared to .702 vs righties. With a potent Mets offense and a predominantly left or switch hitting lineup look for Arroyo to struggle todoay coming in early off corpal tunnel syndrome problems that projected him to miss tonights start. My early lean had mets winning, but with an erratic Perez I like my chances on the over.

man, the run lines have not been kind to me in the early going. my baseball plays are 4-5 on the season, but 4 of the 5 losses were run line selections of -1.5. but, in 3 of those 4 losses, my team won by 1 run!

those that play run lines know the pain in that. we would rather see the team get buried so that it made sense not to lay -220 etc....

the ups and downs of sports gambling. during these streaks is when i sloooow down. prob no more plays for me today. -1 unit on the day.

friendly fyi - if you're going to tout yourself in baseball, you should be using units since a record means nothing with moneylines assigned to most all side plays. nice start though.

manny parra will become a #1 or 2 guy, and that could happen this year. awesome arsenal of pitches from the left side with a fastball that he can dial up to 97 when needed. one of his better starts last year was at sf (8ip/2er). RLM going on here with 60% of the public on sf, yet the line has dropped from 135 to 115.
