His highest k/9 ratio in the minors was this and it was on 8 something. Before that he wasn't striking out more than 5 or 6 per 9 in single and double A, he throws 70 % fastballs and he not that overpowering, of coarse you call some avg at best pitcher a star every other day. Rays are the better overall team, won the series (2-1) in Cleveland a couple weeks ago, Karns has been consistently good especially of late with a 1.04 ERA and 1.20 WHIP in last 3 starts for TB. Cleveland played a double header on the road yesterday losing both (swept by Balt on the weekend) before traveling to TB, so if Anderson gets into any trouble in his 2nd start the bullpen has been in heavy use the last few days without much run support, hoping the situation helps the Rays win despite a roughly .500 home record (season and last 10)! Cheers!
