Miami is expected to go the playoffs as a wild card and paid Giancarlo Stanton royally, while Braves are in a rebuilding year. But right now Marlins aren't hitting and Braves' Markakis and Freddie Freeman are teeing off. Braves historically do well down in Miami and that has been the case again this year. So this is sort of a high pressure spot for Marlins' Tim Koehler to stop the bleeding and infuse some optimism to the script. That's not good, cause he gave up 3 HRs in his last spring start has given up 14 ERs in his last 14 innings this Spring. I don't know if he was working on pitches or not, but he doesn't appear ready for the regular season. In fact, he even skipped his final Spring start cause he was throwing so horribly. Braves' Shelby Miller struggled against the Marlins in two starts last year while with the Cards, but his Spring stats this year are even better than last year's where he ended up having a great year for the Cards. Actually, his stats this year are better than his 2013 stats, where he ended up having an All-Star caliber year. So I expect this to possibly be a career year for Miller if the Spring is any indication (not saying it is, but could be). Regardless, until the Marlins show any life, I will back the Braves for an early conference sweep.
