Got off to a good start, then went on a tailspin and was down 70+ units, then made a massive recovery and ended up at +76 units. I started playing totals underdogs and hit a few and thought I hit a gold mine. That quickly fizzled because instead of winning, I was pushing on a lot of bets trying to win extra bucks. Then something hit me. Books don't give away free money, they just make you pay for it. Most say if you bet mostly favorites, you will lose in the long run. That has not been the case for me this season. I bet mostly favorites and many times I either pushed or won by buying that half run. Funny thing is, since i started betting more favorites, had i took the plus odds, i would've won more than 50% of them which I couldn't do while betting plus odds. lol I'm back to almost even in the playoffs, let's see if I can stay in the black.
