MLB players are smart, they make adjustments and generally will do much better against a pitcher when they struggled against him just a few days ago. Cole Hamels was coming off allowing just 2 hits in 7 full innings last week when he faced the Nationals. The only run he allowed was a solo HR. Fister allowed just 6 hits in 6 innings in that same game and the Phillies failed to even push a single run across. Expected both teams to have much more success this time around, when seeing a pitcher ( in this case both pitchers ) within a 10 -14 day period
