Maybe his head not in it. Heard his mother was dealing with life-threatening issues back home. Could have something to do with it. I know he left the team to be with her. Don't know if he has returned. Will certainly be behind schedule. Reds don't need that.

Cueto has returned and is getting back in shape. His spring was not bad, but not up to his usual level of performance. You might want to play it cautiously with him until he is fully settled in and focused on the new season. Hope that helps.
