#3I like the under. It seems that the over and under have rotated with each game:
Game 1 - 2 runs
Game 2 - 15 runs
Game 3 - 5 runs
Game 4 - 17 runs
Yes...every game is different; but there is definitely a pattern here. All things being equal...the under is looking really good.Comment -

#5Mets\Cards O\U
I would go with the under (9). For one, the Cards need this game considering its their last home game in the series. Two, Glavines on a hot streak with 0 runs in 13 consecutive innings in the post season. Even more convincing is the fact that both bullpens have had a bonus day of unexpected rest which gives each starter all the rest they need. Though both teams obviously can swing the bats and put runs on the board, this games focus is on the pitching. As I mentioned before, this is the last game in St. Louis which basically means Weavers got to bring his best stuff to the mound. And as we saw in game 1, he is highly capable of doing so (0 runs in almost 5 innings). This way, Carpenter can try and pick up where he left off giving a boost of confidence for the Cards on the road in Game 6. On Glavines behalf........he's on fire, not much to worry about. As for batting, the Mets have had a day to cool off, this should slow down their momentum a bit. Besides, Larussa took a big risk putting in non-experienced pitchers so early in the game against the Mets lineup in game 4. The Mets only scored that large sum of runs off bad decision making. As for the Cards, they don't have too many high scoring games. 9 runs scored in Game 2 was alot for the Cardinals......3 of those runs were scored in the 9th as it was. If you have a chanc take a look at Glavine and Weavers O/U records for the las 15 games. Most of them are unders.Comment
