    Hey boys! Im ready for this baseball season. I actually did well yesterday hitting a 3 team parlay and Im currently looking at today's games. Ive decided to post starting pitchers for the games and open a discussion on this thread about plays for this afternoon.

    -110 Cardinals-Wellemeyer
    VS -110 Marlins -Johnson

    +130 Nationals-Olsen
    VS -150 Phillies-Moyer

    +110 Blue Jays-Undecided
    VS -130 Detroit-Bonine

    -105Red Sox-Penny
    VS -115 Twins-Liriano

    +135 Orioles-Eaton
    VS -155 Mets-Pelfrey

    If anyone has any starting lineups for these games, please post them...What do we all think?

      Initial thoughts on matchups and current prices. I don't post plays until lineups are out but from what you have up, those are my initial leans.

              Check out mlb.com about an hour before games start. Check out the scoreboard and they slowly start posting the "box" which gives you the starting lineups.

                  Sounds good...I was leaning on the marlins out of these 1pm eastern starts...any particular reason you like the twins and the jays?

                      Not yet. I haven't looked at anything yet. I start digging into the games a bit more in the next hour. I really like Liriano as he's a complete stud and has something to prove (he isn't going to be with the team on opening day).

                      I like the Washington spread. Olsen and moyer have been pretty similar this season. That one comes down to the lineup. If either team starts bench guys/minor leaguers, it will have a big effect on whether or not theres value here.

                          Looks like Philly has their starters in ..no play for me..Im going to look at the Marlins probably as my only early play..

                              I think the better edge is playing Boston over Minnesota today. Boston has all of its starters playing...good value in the line...its the last spring training game for them, and I expect them to be scoring some runs. Liriano is a solid pitcher, but I believe Penny will be out here with something to prove trying to outpitch his counterpart.

                              3.3 units to win 2.75 units....GL All!

                                          I haven't seen any lineups but as of right now, I really like the Cubs against the Indians. Dempster vs Reyes.

                                                              Brewers looking the best so far. I like KC over TEX. It should be a flip of a coin which makes Kansas City +123 the bet in my mind. 2 terrible starters throwing...too bad my book isn't listing over/unders today for some reason.

                                                              So far, outside of MIL, I'm liking the odds for the dogs....

                                                                              Pittsburgh Pirates EVEN over the Minny Twins---Zach Duke is pitching and he has been solid this preseason. Pirates have all starters in, and I believe that they will get to slowey as I feel his recent success has been a fluke...good luck!

                                                                              I also have a Tennis play booked as Im going with Federer in the Ericsson open this afternooon...

                                                                                      i subscribe to mlb.com...14.95 a month..can listen to all games live preseason and watch them all on mlb tv post season. Not sure where you can get live scoring...

                                                                                                  I think it's a coin flip here. Cabrera has potential but could come out and walk 4 in the first inning. I don't see a clear favorite here and am laying off.
