    Looking for an MLB mentor...
I am getting back into the game after losing a couple hundred on the NBA. I started betting back in December when I turned 18 and learned the hard way that this is not a field to rush into blindly. There are two things I was hoping someone could help me out with as the veteran guys on this forum seem incredibly sharp and willing to teach others their methods.

    1. What are some solid MLB betting strategies? Fading strategies, underdog systems, etc...

    2. What is an appropriate money management system for the MLB?

I would be incredibly thankful for any input/shared knowledge you could provide me with.

Always factor in the bullpens. Games and over/unders are won and lost in the middle innings.

      Patrick,

Starting pitching is always key. Look to recent performances rather than season stats where possible. Try to avoid going against teams that are in the top of the league in runs scored, as they can get hot even against the top pitchers. There are many other factors but these two are a couple that are important.

My advice is to wait about three weeks to a month before wagering. That way you get some decent numbers to compile.
