What kind of coach lets a starter with a 2-0 lead in a playoff elimination game stay in with single to start single 2nd man and no outs 100 pitches.... Horrible. Just horrible.

That Dodger pen sucks aside from Jansen.

Donnie baseball was gun shy to take his ace out because he did not trust anyone down there to get six outs to get it to Jansen.

If he would of taken him out, and the bullpen gave up the lead, you would of said why didn't he leave him in.

        Easy to second guess

managers are in a no-win situation in that spot

He yanks Kershaw, dodgers shit pen blows it, then its "why didn't he leave kershaw in"

He leaves Kershaw in, "why did he leave him in"

His bullpen is awful outside of Jensen, why take out the best pitcher in the planet? he did the right thing leaving him in, Kershaw just has to get over these mental blocks in the playoffs.

You don't leave a pitcher in after 100 pitches. Especially in this type of game. End of story

Sorry the mvp does not choke away those leads. His track record in October speaks for itself.

Since the middle of July, in Kershaw's 15 starts, he flew over 100 pitches 13 out of 15 times. Its just that when it comes down to October, he chokes. Chokes repeatedly. Again, the mvp has to be better than that.

mvp has nothing to do with this Clayton was on short rest he done his job by getting 18 outs, once the 2 men got on base it time for the rest of the bullpen to earn there money and pitch LA to the victory

agreed. It is not arguable this guy was on one day short rest. Base runners and the thing blows up all over again. Mattingly doesn't have the guts of a championship manager. You've got to allow your brain to think in that situation and given the Game 1 outcome you gotta pull Kershaw because he IS Kershaw, and he did his job. Mattingly leaves Puig out and Kershaw in. All the wrong moves. There was a lefty in the bullpen he just didn't use him.

I agree, stress is through roof. 100 pitches probably feels like 130
