Ventura's fastball averaged 96.8 MPH in the regular season, highest among qualified starters. The Giants had a .271 batting average against fastballs with a velocity of at least 95 MPH this season, highest in the NL. May not happen early-but it's gonna happen eventually. I say it happens around the 6th inning. Peavy is decent early, but he has the penchant for messing around in the middle innings. Hope he doesn't piss on my FF bet.
