Not sure you completely understand the term moneyball. It's more about economics and finding guys you can plug in who can play hard and smart more so than just signing name tags to huge overpriced deals essentially. On the field they are looking for guys with good o.b.s. and slg% overall. But Oak LOVES working pitch counts and getting guys on via walk, do a lot of sacrifice plays , and more so in the past were aggressive on the basepaths and swiped whenever they could...Just don't have alot of team speed right now. Aside from not having quite as much power this KC team is built and plays very much like Oak $$ball teams of the past actually. Nice try tho!Comment
