    Oakland -105
Shocked there's no Oakland thread in here.

Lester dominates and somehow A's find a way to score runs. Im not into the whole 'feel good' America story that Kansas City is.

Better starter, better bullpen. Have to take shot.

Looking at the last two months for Oakland..its a feel bad story to say the least...if anyone besides lester was pitching, its KC hands down.
Doing my due-diligence and waiting until I see the line ups.

Feel good story pretty obvious I would think? 1time reaching postseason since Reagan years, Van Halen just broke up, Celts/Lakers in the thick of their rivalry, and Da Bears doing the SB shuffle. Half of sbr probably not even born yet or old enough to remember last time KC saw post season. Very slight lean to Oak here but I'm also a fan. Gm really too much of a coin flip to bet on. Gl

It is interesting to see that my local book has odds for OAK to win the WS @ +1100, while KC @ +1400. And for AL, OAK @ +600, KC @ +650. Wonder if this means anything??

Yep same here only 8 hahaha. First WS Royals/Cards, first SB, Pats/Bears, Magic/Bird at the peak of their rivalry, and Roth leaves my fave band (still to this day) in place of a hallmark card writing douche. Least DLR is back

Kansas city has the better bullpen hands down... at one stretch W davis and K Herrea combined only gave up 2 er in 70 innings of relief... holland had a 1.13 era and saved 46 out of 48 tries.... Oakland has been playing like crap for months now,,,,,We will see..

Ouch Lester was completely undressed here by the base runners and he couldnt get strikes when he needed .. Great game for the KC backers as the opening line said it all.....live and learn...

Funny, if the A's never traded Cespedes they would've never even had to play in the wild card, they would have a definite spot in the playoffs. They traded him and messed up their offense and chemistry to bring on Lester and had a huge slump at the end of the season. only barely getting a wild card spot and getting to see the ace they went all in on get hit for 6 runs. They chose to go fishing.

so you are saying cespedes wins 18 games over his replacement and they finish ahead of the Angels?
