No. Their pitching cant hold up.

No way...they are sunk. They never had the pitching to compete. You can't start guys like Al Leiter, Aaron Small, Shawn Chicon, and players like Randy Johnson and Mike Mussina whose glory days are behind them.

Plus their line up is so top heavy. After #6 in the order it's all easy outs basically unlike the Red Soxs who can beat you one through nine in their lineup.

The only thing the Yanks having going for them is Rivera. That guy is simply amazing. Never seen anything like him before.
