Tough game. I am leaning A's in this one. Kazmir is 2-2 in August but looked good last week against the Mets after some shaky starts. Oakland is 10-11 since August 1st while the Angels are 12-9 since August 1st. So no team has been on any kind of dominant run.
Weaver got smacked in his last start versus the A's this year but Kazmir got hit hard as well in his last start in August 2013 versus the Angels when he was with the Clevland Indians.
2 first games of series have been close at 5-3 and 2-1. Even the hits have been close. This is why they are tied for first.
Recommendation: A's -127 because they are at home but you could lay off and just enjoy the game as a fan if you are up PLUS units for the day.
Even the UNDER is far from an obvious lock.
They play another 4 games in LA next week.Comment -

On June 1st 2014 Weaver allowed 11 hits and 5 runs in 6 innings, so the over is possible if Kazmir does not throw a gem. Might go 5-3 or 6-4 similar to the first game of the series. Yesterday it was Jon Lester who is way better than Kazmir.Originally posted by Bbfromgpt
