Why do the books continue to give free money away with Boston?

Red Sox are just plain atrocious. They don't try, and they aren't any good. Yet every single game, oddsmakers set their line way too reasonably, and books move the number in their favor. 20 cents here, 20 cents there, night after night. This team is awful, yet they're treated like a legitimate ballclub. I don't get it. Do the oddsmakers not see what's been going on basically all season here?
