What does this have to do with today's games?
Or just looking ahead to Friday's bets?

Often on "getaway day" teams that have to travel after the game play with one foot out the door.... Teams have been known to rest starters on travel days.

        Oh ok. Thanks!
I was somewhat familiar with this but really don't take into account a team's line-up when playing Under bets.
Probably a good idea to start factoring that in.

I don't know, I think Oakland needs a win here. KC also wants to keep winning to stay ahead of detroit. Does Milwaukee want to lose to the Cubs again?? Doubt it. They all know were they are in the standings and with 40 games left can't being playing with one foot out the door, the better teams anyway. Just my thoughts. Even Pitt is in playoff contention. Really don't think they are worried about a plane ride or their next series.

Wouldn't get away day only matter when a team is in the midst of a home stand and the visiting team has to be in a different city the following day? I'd assume if both teams play in different cities tomorrow, the "get away" factor is equal for both creating a wash, as is the case with Cubs/Brewers for example

              Am I following?

Might be, but they are playing @ noon today and going home to face the division leading Brewers, and they lead their division as well. Plus, they won't play until tomorrow night late. Maybe you are right. I just think the playoff contenders, and most of them are, have to concentrate on the games at hand. BOL.

No one getting rest in the 2 early games after looking at those lineups. 2 afternoon ones aren't up yet.

think the key to the early games is how fast they are called, anything around three hours, would have to look to the under, of course you don't know that beforehand .........just food for thought, control pitchers, strikeout pitchers, under empires etc

                            Dodgers-Braves
Hernandez is 3-0, 2.34 in his last five starts.
Harang is 4-0, 2.70 in his last nine starts; Atlanta bullpen lost his last five.
Dodgers won eight of their last eleven road games.
Braves lost 11 of their last 14 games overall.
Six of last nine Harang starts stayed under total.

LAD jumps out fast 35-21-1 first five record to date LA team total "juiced "to the over

As a Dodger homer I will tell you the Brewers almost ALWAYS play them tough. Or so it seems.
