Saturday: I have to take Greinke -127

I had to take Greinke -127 for tomorrow against Joe Kelly. If he loses for some reason, I will double down on Kershaw against Carlos Martinez.

Hopefully, when you make the play the night before, you will get better odds before the Public hammers the hell out of it.

They went into extra innings on that game. Greinke had 10 strikeouts and 1 BB. Kelly did not figure in the decision. Cards used 7 pitchers and Lynn got the win.

Sagarin Ratings has Geinke at 2.03 RPG and Kelly at 6.03. I would think it could be -150 to -170, however; the Public may see Kelly as the winner and keep the line low and the line may not move very much.

My Book is at -135 right now.

The line could go down, since they are on the road. I just grabbed it at -127 because I saw some value and my Book went to -135. Like I said, if it loses, I will double down on Kershaw if need be. I just can't see Greinke and Kershaw losing back to back, so I will be chasing.

Well considering I'm much better at totals (62%) than sides (40%), would say my stronger play is the Under, and LAD is more of a safety net in case Kelly gets roughed up.

I think Greinke looks strong here; the question is whether slumping LAD bats show up for him even against a suspect Kelly.

Especially with Kemp creating a distraction with his whining about playing center field and now trade rumors. WTF. Play where the coach plays you, asshat!
