okay, I'm not the most prolific profiteer around the neighborhood,
but I handicap the occasional contest. these mets are batting around .315 vs harang,
and d. wright in the 3 hole is beating him up consistently...although I can't remember the exact numbers.
anyway, situationally, I like the mets gunning for the home sweep against the offensively slumping bravos.
I like big bartolo colon's resurgent pitching style, and I see him as possessing skills and intangible elements
greater than the sum of his season's numbers. dirty south numbers vs colon are not spectacular, with the
sole exception of freeman, and that sample size is very small. whatever. harang is considerably worse than
the sum of his current numbers, and I believe most mets have seen his stuff get slapped around plenty when
he was a member of the NYM roster. so I'm taking my paltry bankroll, and betting on the mets. best of luck.
