Boston ranks as the 8th most strikeout prone lineup. Sale dominated them with 10 Ks in his only start against them this season. Almost half of the 40 ABs against the current BoSox roster have ended with a K. Also a chance to stick it to Farrell for an All-Star snub even if he might win a spot with the final vote.

A no brainer try here against the most strikeout prone lineup in MLB (Tied for #1 w/HOU). Wheeler has faced them three times and has 25 Ks in 21 IP against the Fish.

Toronto is one of the stingier sides when it comes to striking out, but there are still opportunities. Even though Archer barely made it through five innings last night, he struck out seven. Odorizzi has struck out at least five in 13 of his last 15 starts and has at least five Ks in 9.10 home starts this season.

Phils are the 9th most strikeout prone lineup in the Majors. Strasburg dominated them last time with 11 Ks in 7 IP. He has 16 Ks against them in 13 IP this season. He has at least eight Ks in three of his last four starts.

CHC Travis Wood Over 5 @ +100
Atlanta ranks 5th in MLB in terms of strikeouts with 800 on the season. Wood has good #s against a lot of ATL regs with 14 Ks in the 51 ABs. At Wrigley, he is averaging about 1 K per IP. They key for Wood is efficiency as he has racked up big pitch counts due to walks and not made it deep in games several times. If you give me 6 IP here, I think this has a legit shot.

Not gonna work out today. Wood has had a lot of two strike counts and has yet to rack up a K and has given up some runs too. He'll be lucky to get through five at this rate and won't sniff five Ks. Oh well. Didn't like any others today, so will regroup and be ready to roll after the Break.

Really should just go against Miami every game. I was hesitant on Teheran at 6.5, but he's got 9. Fish are just strikeout machines. Fish & Braves. May just look at both of them every time. Koehler had been terrible, but rolling up Ks tonight.
