Why is there a 3 way line for soccer if round of 16 cant end in draw?

All the elimatination world cup games all have a 3 way line , i thought there is no draws in round of 16 onwards, someone please explain this to noobs like me.

i think if the score is 0:0 within game time, thats a draw. if a team wins by penalty shoot out at the end, doesnt count as a win.

Yeah, the X counts for the regular playing time of 90 minutes. If you have a game which is 1:1 after 90 minutes it will go to extra time, but if you have bet on the X you have won the bet.

There are different lines offered. If you don't want to bet the three way line (1X2) bet the prop on who to advance instead.

bc that bet is not counting overtime and shootout.

if u want to avoid all that and just pick a winner select for example "Brazil to advance"
