How can it "not be"? Because sports betting isn't that simple anymore.
I never said it is simple. But getting better numbers improves your chances. How that even be arguable?

So do you feel like you win more than you lose when you beat the closing number? I'm asking honestly here.

They all have limited access to their participating books' databases. Probably VERY limited, i.e., could get bet counts but not money counts.

I don't know precisely because as I have said several times, it does not dictate the games I play. But again, what is the alternative? Taking the worst number possible without regard to the value? And I get the sense that I will have a winning MLB season this year.

But yes, I feel good when I beat the closing number, and why not? It certainly can't hurt.

I would think that if beating the closing number was essential to you, that you would track it relative to your record and prove its worthiness (or lack thereof).

You know this for sure? And you're paying for this "information"?

That's how I saw it described at one of those sites, they actually pay the participating books a fee to access the info. But anyhow, that's obviously not the main reason to use a line service.

LT, why are you wasting your time with this argument? If someone can't understand that consistently beating the closing line will result in long-term profits, then they should stop betting on sports.

You know what results in long-term profits more than anything else?

                        Picking winners.

EDIT: Ouch, bad day today LT. Tomorrow is another day though.

You are trusting numbers and line movement from books that are out to get everyone's money. I'm sorry, but that's just plain naive.

NoCoin has an MLB thread here with almost 150,000 views, it's full of his picks.... you haven't heard of it or seen it? His past picks/threads in other sports are fully documented here.
