Yanks were absolutely drilling Stroman's offerings last week. Lot of scorchers right at guys, though. The damage could have been much worse than the 2 ER young Stroman surrendered in 3.2 IP at Yankee Stadium. Not to mention he walked 3 guys. Yanks at plus odds has a fair shot.

Totally with you on Dodgers and Giants.
Locking in Dodgers now at a great price of -123.
Not sure about Giants yet...Don't like the juice.
Locked in Under 6.5 already in Seattle and also like M's ML.

Thx 4 your input.
Main reason for Giants, although it's indeed very juicy, are the following:
- Padres 2.1 r/g and 4-10 over the last 15 days
- Padres 2.2 r/g and 3-8 in away games over the last 25 days
- Odrisamer Despaigne has an 7.61 ERA, 2.070 WHIP, 13.7 H/9 in 5 starts at AAA El Paso
- Giants are 15-6 against the Padres at home since 2012
- Giants are 3-1 against the Padres since 2012 with Cain starting
- Giants are only 2-4 in Cains last 6 home starts since September 2013, but the Giants have only allowed 2.8 r/g in those games
- Giants scored 4.75 r/g over the last 4 home games
I can't see a way how the Padres should win this one (of course it's possible). Maybe I switch the bet to Giants -1.

Yeah. I may go Giants -1 too.
How about M's ML?
I don't see M's losing 3 straight with King Felix. I think bats back them with at least 3 runs...maybe I should just stick with the Under 6.5
Maybe a 4-2 M's win?

I like King Felix, I am a Giants fan first, but I am a fan of King Felix, too. But I don't trust the Mariners' lineup, that's the problem.
- Mariners are 9-13 in King Felix home starts since 2013
- Mariners are 5-11 against the Red Sox since 2012 (losing the last 6) and 5-6 at home (losing the last 3)
- Mariners are only 17-20 at home this season
- somehow I have a feeling that the Red Sox are better than their record

I am a die - hard Cubs fans but due to their losing ways and really no legit shot at contending, have been looking at other teams to root for (as my 2nd team) the last few seasons.
This year I like SF and hope they go far.
You may not like it, but I also have liked following Athletics too...just a sound team that competes every day and no real stars that don't give max effort...I think both teams are similar and can go far.

You may be surprised, but there are a ton of teams in the league which I like far less than the As. Reason is that they have been doing so much right regarding management and developing 2nd tier players into more than solid MLB regulars, IMO everybody should have a ton of respect for that. Somehow I can't hate them.

I enjoy seeing your picks but i warn you against Cain and SF. He is not himself this year so tread lightly if you test those waters.

Thx for your opinion.
As a Giants fan, I know Cain very well. But looking at this Despaigne guy, I would even bet on San Fran if Zito would be up against him.

Yeah this bet looks nice, too.
The Padres scored only 4 times more than 3 runs over their last 18 games: 1 x 6 runs, 1 x 5 runs, 2 x 4 runs.
In those games the Padres scored 10 of those 19 runs against the opponents bullpen. They are so silent against starting pitching, unbelievable.
