Personally, love playing against Royals when playing home in Kansas City. Vargas is much better on the road than at home (Road 3-0, 1.75 ERA, 1.12 WHIP versus Home 4-2, 4.56 ERA, 1.294 WHIP). Also, Vargas pitched 7 shutout innings v. Mariners last month, giving up 3 hits, walking none and striking out 6.
