Question for you, the A's are leading MLB in runs per game and have been red hot lately, plus I think Peavey's ERA @ 4.53 speaks for itself, so I guess, why the under??? I know the Sox have not been lighting it up, but they are due. maybe their B2B walk off's yesterday will wake them up. Thoughts??? I think Oakland could pretty much cover most of that themselves.

i agree A's RL is a better play. A's will take Peavy deep early and often.

These are also two of the best bullpens in the American League. Peavy probably won't go beyond six innings anyway unless he pitches as well as he did vs. Cleveland last time out. He is probably better than his ERA anyway, but that aside, he'll probably get pulled at the first sign of trouble because Sox would not want game to get out of hand figuring they won't score much on Kazmir.

Well good response, but the other day farrell didn't want to use his overworked bullpen when Lester pitched. Then he goes out and tosses 33 pitches in the first inning before he settled down. Peavey's ERA is reflective of his record. last time out yes, he did well, but the three times before that, not so good and gave up some long balls. well, anyway, we agree to disagree. BOL in your wager.
