Mm thanks for the insight. I'm going to look further into that one later. I did have a moment of second guessing when I picked this one. You think peavy can handle the Oakland bats? I know Red Sox are a bunch of gamers and never quit.. Just found it weird they could hardly score on Minnesota.

I kind of like it. Sox been horrible at the plate last few games. Other than the b2b homers they got today in extra's, they've really done nothing. Kazmir should dominate them.

What do you think of Under 5 (1st 5) in Indians game? Wilson pitches well during day, both pitchers not bad vs opponents / individual hitters, and wind blowing in.
I think both pitchers give a solid effort for first part of game.

LB, I am leaning Oak TT over 4 runs. Don't know about the Sox man, they have been horrific offensively. I think Oak can cover most of this themselves and hope the Bumbling Sox can put up 2. BOL

My thoughts on this game are Peavy either holds his own or gets shelled 1 inning for 3-4 runs which will be too much to keep up with Oakland's bats.
Consider wind blowing out at 13 mph, which doesn't seem to help Boston (yesterday), but might work to A's advantage.
I just don't see Boston with enough run production to keep up.
Peavy has a lot of success vs A's hitters though (in general), but he has been awful on the road.

Yeah that's why Im going to take a gamble with Oakland run line at +money. I figure they can either beat these guys by a couple runs or may lose.

Totally understand. When I first looked at this game I was inclined to grab the defending World Series champions at +money. But... I saw it was peavy pitching... Also boston travinling across the country while Oakland stayed home.... GL tho

Guys, I would have to go ML on OAK. Peavey is misconceived as some good pitcher??? Average at best, or worse. He gets torched for almost 4 runs per game, hence the 4.53 ERA. A fourth starter in the "twilight" of his average career. BOL to you both, I am going OAK. Love the input and sharing of info. Just think, if we pooled our money and went large on the same thing once in awhile??? Wow, we could make some serious dollar's. Look at last night, WE ALL LOVED THE RED SOX GAME UNDER!!!! If we had bet say 5-10k, we could take today off, just one example.
