Has Anyone Really Made Some Money on MLB? It is kickin my a$$ so far!
I have made a nice little profit in 5 of 6 sports, but MLB is handing me my a$$ so far! I have been moosed on so many games in the 9th inning and extra innings, it is not even funny. I think my weakness is that I have not put enough stock into the the bullpen and their usage. I need to concentrate more on each game or at least play the F5 innings. If the bullpen is good and rested, play the FG. If the bullpen is bad and/or tired, play the F5.

My average juice is -125. Over the years I have played:

RLM -- greater than 20 pts.
    Situational Plays
Taking the home dog when the Public is less than 30%

It has not been working very well this year. Any additional thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

        Tonight has been unreal.

Twins, Braves, Pirates, Rays, and Yankees is a complete baffler...no clue what's going on tonight.

Some people say MLB is the easiest sport to beat. But damn, there are about 100 variables to consider for each game. Hopefully, I will get my shite together and start making a little money.

My standard play is 3U, but in MLB I have been playing 1U and 2U, trying to hit a winning streak. It has not happened yet.

We will get on a roll Achilles!
I have hit 6 straight Unders. I'll try to give you a good one for Sat.
Going to be more selective...came off a nice winning day yesterday and felt very confident in my plays today only to get burned by Angels and A's...now I'm thinking they needed a game to get back on track after that big series against each other...didn't factor that into either game.

Gotta think that 2 of theses 3 teams will bounce back tomorrow with a W:
                Brewers, Oakland, SF
All solid home teams with solid starters and pens (well disregard what happened in SF tonight)
                Gotta pick your spots.

I really appreciate the assistance. I have been checking you out and several other cappers. I will definitely check those games out. I am a little gun shy on MLB right now. I went 3-0 the other day and thought, great, here we go. Then, went 3-3 -$47.52. I have not utilized my normal composure and money management skills with MLB. I think I have been preoccupied with the NBA.

Great thing is there is a long season ahead, plenty of time to still make a profit. I will find my groove and will post some plays once, I start winning.

                  Thanks

I have been following certain pitchers (15 to be exact) that I play nearly every game except if I see that pitcher has a history vs a certain opponent or just doesn't match up well.
Tonight it was King Felix who has been an auto play, but no way was I going to back him with that terrible line and even the Under 3 (for Texas) at -155.
And with cold bats of Seattle, no way.
So knowing King Felix lost last game and didn't play it, can make a regular wager on him next game and then double up the following if he loses. Pitchers like him or most of the 15 I chose hardly lose 3 straight - let alone 2 straight.
I like Gallardo tomorrow for Brewers and lean Under too.
The Under I like best for tomorrow (at 1st glance) is Angels - Braves (U 7.5)
Angels will try to get back into Win column and Richards should hold Braves to 2-3 while Angels will get 3-4 I think. Braves pen still solid.

I noticed that you are a totals guy. I tend to do my best strictly on totals. But I would like some help come football in return pls,

Here are some general rules or guidelines:

You should try not to take any unders 7 or below buy up if possible.

The same can be said of overs, try not to take overs of 8.5 or higher.

Now the reason I now this , is because I like to evaluate all my bets, even within the current season to see where I can improve and this is what I have noticed.

Now just as there is in football, there is in baseball.....key numbers. 3, 7 in football ,,,baseball is 7 and 9. If you do not believe me, look at your betting sheet. 98% of your totals are within that range. And it is for a reason.

That reason is , in the event of a tie game. All combined tie scores will equal to an even number. Fun with math basics. Now since most games that are tied, generally are won by just one run. That number now becomes an odd number. hence 7 or 9. Always buy into these numbers.

Ex. You have an Under of 8.5

                                Vis 3
                                Home 4

Now in this example , you can only afford 1 more run of which only the home team can make. In the event the visiting team scores that "1" run,,,that run in essence is equal to 2. You will be surprised on how often you find yourself in these situations. I would much rather have a bit of leeway for both teams to score.

I hope you can see my logic , I am terrible at explaining things via the internet.

A better example is the Under of 6.5 when its 3-2 . Hence why you buy up to 7 or a full point if you can to 7.5. personally I just buy up or down .5 to the 7 or 9 to at least push this situation.

I have other fun with math basics for baseball, but that will need to be for another time. Good luck, hope this helps. Hedging with the +1.5 RL will be the next lesson. cheers.

I changed my handicapping system and it has been working. It can break at any time though! I hate losing people money, so I was not posting my plays, had no idea this would work so fast. I guess I will post my plays and people can play or fade as they see fit.
