Robert Ross: Jays the Play at Detroit
    Jays the Play at Detroit

    Game Time: 9/27/2006 7:05:00 PM
    By: Robert Ross

The Blue Jays, playing for second in the AL East, should have the edge tonight when they take on the Tigers in Detroit.

The Blue Jays are still hoping to finish in second place ahead of the Red Sox in the the AL East.

Expect a good effort here from Jays starting southpaw Ted Lilly who has allowed two earned runs or less in each of his last five starts. Plus, Lilly is pitching for himself in this one rather than for his manager John Gibbons. Take Toronto!

    Play: Blue Jays

I feel the only way to play this game is Detroit.

Yea, Lilly is a bum, and I doubt there are more than 100 people in Toronto that care about baseball anymore. Tigers if anything here.
