Do it -- especially if it's a close game and you have struggled to score.

Cubs get a leadoff double. Darwin Barney is up. BUNT THE GUY OVER. This is baseball 101, yet for some reason, teams have abandoned this strategy. I don't get it. Man on 3rd with one out is ideal. You know what isn't? Letting Darwin Barney swing away.

    Losing baseball.

especially when you take into consideration how they have outhit the pirates by such a wide margin and are still looking at losing this game, they definitely need to pull out all the stops to get baserunners home.

Out hitting them 13-4 and they still can't win after taking the lead in extra innings. Same shit different year.

Barney is the perfect guy to bunt. He's fast and he can't hit.

Brewers just tried it after a leadoff double, and the idiot popped up to the catcher.

Seriously, bunting in this league is embarrassingly bad these days. Managers won't do it because no one knows how. The managers and even players of yesteryear are rolling over in their graves at this incompetence from "professionals."
