Athletics day game is a strong play today and here's why:

Scott Kazmir dominates Indians hitters. Cleveland's lineup is flooded with lefties and can't hit a lick off Kazmir. Athletics bats however have hit Kluber extremely well. Almost the entire lineup has gotten several hits off him with Cespedes and Donaldson homering off the righty.

This is an excellent play to start off the season. Five unit play for me. Best of luck fellas.

Also, I think it was a poor decision for Indians to pick up Axford as their closer. There's a reason why Brewers and Cardinals let go of this fool. He sucks balls now and is a blown save waiting to happen. Indians are better off taking one of the middle relief guys off their bullpen than Axford. Even though he got the save the other night, it was a scary ordeal as usual.

I guarantee this fool will blow many saves early on this season and will not be their closer in a few months.

What you say here, I fully agree. But I disagree with the Pick... Indians win.

A's bats making good contact off Kluber already in the first inning. A's grab a run early 1st inning.

Kazmir unhittable today. Indians still cant figure out the lefty. Easy 6-0 shutout heading into the 8th inning.

Great pick. If I remember correctly, I believe Indians were one of the best at hitting lefties last year. But it looks like (obviously) Kazmir's an exception to that rule.
